Thank you Lazarus. I downloaded the file, burned it to a CD as a backup, and installed the program on my computer. I like the program; don't let it die!

Hi there,
good news that you are still allive ...
Is there a chance to receive additional news about what exactly you are doing.
Could you provide us with some kind of roadmap (next version, next features, ..., I do and will not use vista)
After having scanned (and edited with upshot) some thousand slides I am now within a bunch of 50 year old negatives which need much more attention than all my slides.
A new version of upshot might come handy ...

is there anybody out there? Any news about upshot or bellamax?
My 'problems' mentioned in my last message (a year ago) are still the same.

Yes, I'm here.. I'm not sure what 'problems' you are referring to. Looks like your last post asked about a development roadmap, and suggested that a new version UpShot might be helpful for processing negatives... is that correct?
There are no plans for adding a mode for processing scanned negatives. Development on this product has been minimal due to the low sale price, relatively small installed base and percentage of total revenue contributed to Bellamax from UpShot, compared to our pro server product Bellamax Pro.
I am happy to take further suggestions and requests for UpShot features and improvements with the caveat that at this point in time new development is on the back burner. I am planning to post a link soon that will allow you to download a new version of the raw file processing component as soon as the testing is completed. Should be sometime next week. |

Hi,
Can you email the steps needed to make Upshot work in Vista? I bought the software a couple of years ago and really like it but was very disappointed when it no longer worked when I updated to Vista. I'm sure you could sell a bunch by making a version that runs under Vista without any workarounds, I know I would recommend it to many of my friends.
